[Visual Branding]
Visual Identity Refresh
Scaleflex already had a solid foundation, and I came in to give it a fresh lift. I refined their product logos, revamped the color palette, and breathed new life into their visual system to make everything feel more vibrant, cohesive, and up-to-date. I also designed their new career page—bringing the refreshed branding into a space that helps reflect the company culture and attract new talent. To tie it all together, I created a brand guideline that’s not just functional, but something the team can confidently rely on for all design-related tasks. It was all about polishing what was there and turning it into something that truly stands out.

VISUAL BRANDING + BRAND GUIDELINE SHOWCASE // OBSTACLES
This was my first major branding project after learning the ropes from my manager, so naturally, there was a learning curve. I worked solo on the execution but stayed closely connected with my manager and the UI/UX team to get feedback and bounce off ideas. Along the way, I made my fair share of mistakes, but each one taught me something valuable. The process pushed me to think more critically about branding and helped me grow not just as a designer, but as someone who can shape how a brand feels and communicates.
CAREER PAGE SHOWCASE // WORK FLOW
I began by ideating and drafting refreshed versions of the product logos, icons, and color palette—building everything in Figma for easy collaboration and feedback. Once the visual elements were locked in, I designed a branding guideline hub using Portals*, Scaleflex’s own product. But as one of the early users, I had to get creative with how I used it. I pushed the tool’s flexibility to make the page feel more polished, aesthetic, and aligned with the refreshed brand. Alongside the brand hub, I also designed a new career page—one that not only reflected the updated branding but also communicated the company culture in a more engaging, human way. The final portal brought together all the new and existing brand assets into a clear, well-organized, and visually engaging resource for both internal and external teams. *It’s something like a website builder with templates, designed to help teams present and share visual assets in one single source.
Impact (or Outcome)
With the project wrapped up, Scaleflex finally has a solid, go-to brand guideline that actually feels aligned with who they are. Everything’s in one place—logos, colors, templates, and downloadable assets—so even teammates who aren’t design-savvy can find what they need and use it easily. I also brought the same refreshed branding into their career page, making it feel more thoughtful, inviting, and true to the company’s personality. Overall, it’s made a big difference in keeping things consistent and way less chaotic when it comes to anything visual.
